Our Indian customer, a well-established manufacturer specializing in MS, LC, CHQ, and High Carbon wires, was facing a critical bottleneck: their existing descaling process was inconsistent. Surface rust and scale residue were causing excessive die wear and uneven wire quality, ultimately affecting their fastener production quality.
They needed a robust, reliable, and cost-effective solution to handle wire diameters ranging from Φ6mm to Φ20mm, all while operating under strict environmental and production efficiency standards.

Our Solution: A Fully Integrated, Customized Inverted Wire Drawing Line
In December 2019, after thorough technical discussions, the customer placed their trust in Hangzhou Sanjin Machine Manufacture Co., Ltd. , finalizing a Purchase Order for a comprehensive LDD-1000 Inverted Wire Drawing Line.
To ensure seamless operation in India, we customized the entire system to their exact specifications:
- High-Performance Descaling System: To tackle the customer’s core pain point, we installed the DDBK6/20 two-way motorized wire descaling and straightening machine, equipped with 16 pcs of high-hardness rollers (HRC 57-60) designed for a 5-year service life.
- Premium Brush Finishing: The GSJ6/20 3-station steel brush machine with a dedicated dust collection system provided a pristine surface finish, preparing the wire perfectly for the drawing process.
- Heavy-Duty Inverted Drawing Machine (LDD-1000):
- Drum Specs: Φ1000mm drum with Tungsten Carbide coating (HRC 62) on the surface, guaranteeing a drum service life of over 13 years.
- Power & Efficiency: Driven by a 45KW, 6-pole Siemens motor and Siemens VFD, operating at 415V, 50Hz.
- Intelligent Control: All displays and interfaces were configured in English, with Schneider brand electronic components for maximum stability.
- Water Cooling System: An advanced inside-drum circulating water cooling system ensures the pump stops automatically when the machine halts, preventing water intrusion.
- Custom Setup: The machine direction was set to Right-to-Left (per the customer’s preference), with a wire inlet height of 1200mm.
- Critical Accessories: The line included a 2.5T vertical pay-off plate with a damper, rotating die boxes with water cooling, hydraulic dolly movement, and a complete set of tools.

After the installation and commissioning, the customer experienced a significant improvement in their production line. The feedback regarding the descaling and steel brushing modules was particularly outstanding.

- Hydraulic type pay-off machines
- New descaling and brush polishing machines
- Multiple LWX-10/600 OTO type wire drawing machines
- Spool type and wind type wire winding machines
- Dry type and borax machines, along with chamfering and pointing equipment
2. Phase 3 – August 2023:
To further automate their finishing process and maintain long-term efficiency, they placed an additional order (Proforma Invoice No. HZSANJIN20230829001) for:
- SDJ5/12 type Abrasive Belt Polishing Machine (3 sets) – enhancing their wire surface polishing capacity.
- Pointing machines (ZE-120 and ZJJB-25) – critical for precision wire end processing.
- Consumables (Dust collector bags and various size drawing chains), ensuring their production line never halts due to lack of spare parts.
