Our straight line wire drawing machine is non-slip continuous drawing equipment.
It supports low, medium & high carbon steel wire, copper, aluminum, welding wire and alloy wire.
Many advanced structures come as standard, including self-made reducer, 5-roller tension unit and dual cooling capstan.
It delivers stable drawing quality and low die consumption, suitable for continuous mass production for multi-metal wire processing.

Key Features & Structure
1.Self-produced Independent Reducer
We manufacture the reducers in-house. Each drawing stand is equipped with an independent self-produced reducer, delivering stable high torque transmission, low noise and long service life.
2.Heavy-duty Tungsten Carbide Overlay Welded Capstan
Tungsten carbide overlay welding height on capstan over 150mm. Total overlay weld layer 4.5mm, usable coating thickness 0.5mm with hardness HRC 63. Outstanding wear resistance, greatly reduces die consumption and extends service time under continuous drawing.
3.Wire Clamping Device
Standard wire clamping device. It locks wire on capstan during threading or wire breakage, prevents wire dropping. Simplifies operation and cuts downtime.
4.Dual Cooling System for Capstan
Narrow-slot internal water cooling + external forced air cooling for capstan. Keep capstan temperature below 60°C under continuous high-speed drawing. Stable wire quality.
5.Roller Integrated Tension Unit
Built-in 5-wheel tension machine as standard. Compact design saves workshop space, delivers precise tension control and reduces wire breakage rate, with low maintenance cost.
6.Separated Rotary Powder Box & Water‑cooled Mold Box
Separate die box and powder box structure. The die box adopts water cooling. Rotary stirring powder box ensures drawing powder evenly coats the wire surface.
7.Synchronous Emergency Stop System
8.Thickened Steel Frame & Anti-scratch Treatment
The main frame is welded with 20mm thick steel plate for high rigidity. All wire-contact parts are carbide-treated to prevent wire scratching and keep good wire surface quality.
9.Transparent Observation Window & Foot Switch
Equipped with transparent viewing window for easy real-time running check. Foot switch is provided for convenient on-site operation.

Q1: What is the production speed /output of this straight line wire drawing machine?
A1: The production speed depends on wire material, inlet & outlet diameter and drawing passes.
For reference: For low carbon steel wire, inlet Φ6.5mm down to outlet Φ2.5mm, we normally adopt a 6-drum configuration with 30kW motor, and the running speed can reach 750 m/min.
We will customize the configuration and calculate the exact capacity for your specific wire specification. Send us your wire drawing requirement for detailed capacity calculation.
Q2: What brand are the motor, PLC and VFD? What about the power rating?
A2: Our standard configuration uses motors from Zhejiang Fangda. We have cooperated with Fangda for more than 30 years. We have tested many alternative motor brands over the years, and Fangda motors prove to be best-matched for wire drawing machines with the lowest failure rate.
For VFD, we adopt Inovance from Shenzhen. After nearly 15-16 years of field practice, Inovance VFD shows excellent adaptability to wire drawing equipment.
PLC can be Siemens or Mitsubishi as standard.
We can also supply international famous brands such as ABB, Siemens for VFD and motors upon your special requirements.
The total installed power is customized according to your wire material, inlet/outlet wire diameter and target production speed. Full power details and component brands will be specified in the formal quotation.

Q4: What is your warranty period?
A4: 12-month warranty for the whole machine. Motors and frequency converters enjoy 18-month warranty. Consumable parts are excluded.
